Extract from the June 2002 NDFA Newsletter
MERSEYSIDE FESTIVAL (LUCILLA)
The Festival joined NDFA this year, and as its Liaison Officer, I was delighted
to attend two of the three nights of this long running One Act Festival. There
was a wide range of plays, including several original scripts, and Adjudicator
Irene Rostron GODA praised the new writing. There was a warm festival atmosphere
and speaking to participating teams afterwards, there were comments that the
Festival was particularly good because of its support for the teams and this was
evident from the hard working committee and backstage staff who made a great
effort to stage an entertaining Festival.
