40 Years of The Lucilla Festival

1966-2005

At the end of the 2005 Festival, Maureen Boase announced her 'retirement' from the role of Festival Organiser.

Maureen organised the Lucilla Festival for 39 of its 40 year history! Quite a feat, unlikely to be repeated! In recognition of her achievement, Mike Quirke, Lucilla's Vice-Chairman, presented Maureen with a bouquet on the last night of the 2005 Festival.
