Please Note: A great deal of work goes into planning this
programme and organizing the Friday night entertainments, but they can only be a
success if enough people come along to support.
All the above dates and events are correct at the time of
preparing this programme. Like everything else in life, they are subject to
change. Keep an eye on the notice board.
Where it says “Club Night” on this programme, it isn’t the
same as saying “There’s nothing on”, it means that the Club is open for an
irresistible blend of good company, good conversation and very good bar prices.
MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:
As always, please feel free to put forward any of your own ideas for Social
Nights. Any Member who wishes to organise an 'Event' for a Friday evening at
Lucilla House is welcome to do so! Have you written a play and want it
performed? Get a cast etc and we will do it in the Studio! (NB: Playwright &
Cast etc. must be fully paid up Members)
Good Ideas for entertainments are are hard to
come by, so come on, Members! Let's have yours!
OPEN NIGHTS:
The Studio & Bar are open but there is no formal event. Just come
on down and socialise from about 8:30p.m. Members can make coffee or tea for
themselves as they wish, and are requested to wash up after themselves as well!
Libations from the bar are also available!
THE BAR
normally stays open until 11 p.m. (unless extensions have been
granted for special occasions). As of August 2005, the bar is closed on all
Fridays in August.
MAIN PRODUCTIONS:
If you have seen or know of a good play please let the Committee know. We might
just be able to put it on……..
