We are a collection of people brought together by a shared interest:

Because we don't get paid for what we do, we are officially, 'amateur', but this is no reflection on our standards!

What We Do

Obviously, we present plays. But not only high-profile plays for the general public, although we produce two of these each year, plus the well-regarded Lucilla Festival, which ran for 40 years until 2005. At our Studio Theatre at Lucilla House we regularly stage one-act plays, revues, theme nights and various entertainments. It's also a showcase for new talent, where fledgling directors, actors and writers can test their work, or develop confidence, playing to a members-and-friends audience.
